Background vocals

It's strange how difficult it is to write about yourself! I'm not really sure what you want to know, but I'll tell you some basic history...

I've been playing keyboards and singing harmonies in Vineyard worship bands since about 1983. I've been playing on this worship team since 1990. Music is such a blessing and passion in my life! Kevin and his wife, Teresa, were the first people we met when we first visited Santa Maria. My husband, Randy, and I recognized the "kindred spirit" with them immediately, and soon our families became best friends! What a blessing they are to us!

Music has been a major part of my life since the beginning. I've been singing in plays, choirs, jazz ensembles, Top-40 bands and the shower since I was around 5. Currently, I teach music to K-6 graders at a public elementary school. It is so cool to get children excited about music and be paid for it! God is good!

Working on this project was fun and challenging. I hadn't been in the recording studio for around fifteen years, and now I look forward to the next CD! Thanks to everyone involved in this project for your hard work and prayers. To Kevin, for letting me weave harmonies into your songs and being my music buddy. To my husband, Randy, for your love and being my "#1 fan". Thanks to my children for loving and encouraging me. Praise to God for the blessings of music and this church family.
