Kevin's Notes
This was an unrehearsed "mayhem" session with Steve Goetz on Brad Bisquera's drum set (with no kick or snare), Brad Bisquera on bongos, Ron Oneto on congas, yours truly on the buffalo drum, Victor Muro on the shaker, Randy Turner on an Indian drum, and Russell Sechler on a guiro. We set mics up all over the room and just played. We could have played for hours but since we were paying for studio time, cut the playing short.

The idea was, since we had all these musicians under one roof, why not have some fun playing a jungle type song that people could dance to? (I later thought of keeping the "rain" going over the celebration so people could enjoy God's presence for a couple of minutes before heading off into the cold, cruel world). This was probably the most fun we had together on the whole project!

So, the theme of the CD is to open up with a "barren wilderness" song, have plenty of praise and intercession songs in between and finish with a "God sends His rain and refreshes His people" song. I hope you can take an hour and listen to the CD all at once. I pray that You will experience His love and refreshing and be lit on fire for Him as you go to work, school, and lay your life down like Paul tells us to do in Romans 12.
